      <abstract>
        <p>  Medicinal and Biological applications of various carbohydrates are studies earlier, in view of this application we have synthesized protected Mannopyranosyl isodithiobiurets by the interaction of N-tetra-O-acetyl-b-D-Mannopyranosyl isothiocyanate with 1-aryl-S-benzyl isothiocarbamides. The products were separated by column chromatography, melting points and specific rotations were measured by standard methods. The characterizations of these newly synthesized products were established on the basis of elemental analysis, UV, IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR &amp; Mass spectral studies.</p>
