      <abstract>
        <p>This review provides an in-depth exploration of Cannabidiol (CBD), a substance originating from the Cannabis species with noteworthy therapeutic potential. It comprehensively covers CBD&apos;s botanical origins, diverse extraction methodologies, and the emerging significance of nanoformulations in addressing a wide spectrum of health conditions, including pain, inflammation, anxiety, depression, and neurological disorders. The section on botanical origins delves into the sources of CBD within the Cannabis plant, highlighting the chemical variations among different strains and the Biosynthesis of the cannabidiol in cannabis sativa. The historical significance of CBD
is elucidated, offering insights into its traditional uses across various cultures and historical contexts. The review paper extensively discusses various extraction techniques employed for CBD isolation, presenting a comparative analysis of their efficacy, safety, and environmental implications. Special attention is devoted to advanced extraction methodologies designed to optimize CBD yield while minimizing the content of psychoactive constituents, such as THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol). Additionally, this paper emphasizes the burgeoning domain of CBD nanoformulations, elucidating how nanotechnology augments CBD&apos;s bioavailability, stability, and targeted delivery. This advancement in drug delivery systems enhances CBD&apos;s therapeutic potential in the management of pain, inflammation, anxiety, depression, and neurological disorders. By offering information ranging from CBD&apos;s botanical origins to cutting-edge nanoformulations, this review paper is an invaluable resource for researchers, healthcare professionals, and policymakers. This review aims to deliver a succinct overview of the pharmacological, extraction technologies, phytochemical, botanical and ethnopharmacological regarding Cannabidiol.
