      <abstract>
        <p>The Knoevenagel condensation of Meldrum’s acid with aromatic aldehydes proceeded efficiently at room temperature in the presence of catalytic amounts of Phenyl boronic acid. This approach offers many advantages such as good product yields, short reaction yield, easy isolation of products.</p>
