      <abstract>
        <p>Herbal ointment containing hydroalcoholic extract of plants- psorolea corylifalia , Achryanthes aspera, was formulated as ointment  and the hydroalchoholic extract was prepared by maceration method and the extract was incorporated into 10gm of simple ointment base by melting and trituration to give ointment . These formulations were evaluated for the following parameters: pH, spreadability, grittiness, skin irritation study, stability.</p>
